Lady Antebellum Take Home 2011 AMA for Favorite Country Band / Duo / Group

Lady Antebellum were the second country act to be recognized at the 2011 American Music Awards. The trio won for Favorite Country Group in the Band/Duo/Group category in the country genre. All three members of Lady A, who are currently on their Own the Night tour, were present at the show to accept the award.

Walking onto the stage, Hillary Scott looked beautiful in her sparkly black gown, while Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley kept it classic in black suits and white button-ups (Kelley ditched the tie). Scott approached the mic first, saying, "Thank you to the fans. It starts and ends with you." Kelley followed up by saying, "We thank you so much for an incredible year."

Congratulations to Lady Antebellum on their 2011 American Music Award win! This marks their second AMA win -- they won in the exact same category last year -- and we're sure that number will increase as time passes on. Keep the country pop hits coming, Hillary, Charles and Dave!
