Lady Gaga Performing (Again) at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards
Two years after spewing fire from her bra at the tail end of her performance of 'Poker Face,' Lady Gaga will make her much heralded return to the MuchMusic Video Awards stage on Sunday, June 19 at 9PM ET. Mark your calendars so you don't miss this action.
Knowing Gaga, she is undoubtedly aiming to top her fiery 2009 performance, which featured the diva rocking a dominatrix-y look -- clad in black leather, studs and sporting a short blond bob with bangs -- while being manhandled by police officers. There was also a subway car replica on stage, too!
Gaga closed her spellbinding performance with sparks and flames -literally. They shot out of her bra for several seconds. Clearly, pop stars have a thing for functional and fashion-forward bras! If Madonna could wear cone-shaped brassieres in the '90s, there's no reason that Gaga shouldn't shoot flames out of hers. Given Gaga's penchant for the dramatic and for trying new things, we predict she will go all out when she takes the MMVAs stage in three months! Monsters and casual viewers will be in for a real treat.
Gaga is the first announced performer for the show and it's obvious producers of the MMVAs are going big.
The MMVAs will be simulcast live in the US on Fuse so American monsters won't be on the outside looking in when it comes to this party. The MMVAs take place live at the MuchMusic HQ in the heart of Toronto.
