Lady Gaga captured her third career Grammy Award this afternoon, as the visually-arresting 'Bad Romance' won for Best Short Form Music Video during the non-televised pre-telecast.

'Bad Romance' was one of the most talked-about videos of the year, with its eye-catching costumes and choreography. Gaga's competition in the category included Cee-Lo Green for 'F--- You,' Eminem and Rihanna for 'Love the Way You Lie,' Johnny Cash for 'Ain't No Grave' and Gorillaz for 'Stylo.'

Gaga was not on hand to deliver a speech, but video producers Heather Heller and Kathy Angstadt accepted the award and remarked, "I know she would want to thank all her little monsters."

The award is the third for Gaga, who last year claimed Best Dance Album for 'The Fame' and Best Dance Recording for 'Poker Face.' She's up for Album of the Year later tonight for 'The Fame Monster.'
