Lady Gaga Channels Dumb Donald With New Black-and-White Hat

With a new internship with Philip Treacy on the horizon, Lady Gaga wants to show the world that she knows how to rock a chapeau. However, it seems that the pop star is channeling Dumb Donald with her latest choice.

Gaga wore the striking black-and-white sun hat while leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, Australia on Thursday. The extra-wide brim came complete with a face-size cut-out so that the singer could see.

While Dumb Donald never experienced Gaga's level of fame, it's clear the two characters have one thing in common: An affinity for style and function. What modern-day fashionista wouldn't desire such features?

Of course, one could argue that Gaga's striped head gear was inspired by the Hamburglar. Both have earned the Best Incognito Fail award for their attempts at going undetected wearing eye-catching black-and-white ensembles.

Still, fans are surely happy that Gaga has allowed them to see a glimpse of her face, unlike earlier in the week when she appeared at a Sydney nightclub shrouded in a lace. It's never a dull moment in the many looks of the outrageous pop star, but her little monsters wouldn't have it any other way.
