Lady Gaga doesn't often collaborate with other artists, so when she does—whether it's a phone-themed banger with Beyonce, a jazz classic with Tony Bennett, or a hilarious joke track with The Lonely Island—it's always memorable. And soon, the pop diva will release a new collaboration of legendary proportions—this time with Florence and the Machine's own Florence Welch.

On Friday, while premiering her rollicking brand new single "Perfect Illusion" on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, Gaga announced that the two women have made sweet, beautiful music together when she revealed that a feature with the British singer will be included on her upcoming fifth studio record.

"There’s a feature on the album that I think you will be very excited about," she teased host Nick Grimshaw, sharing, "Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about."

Gaga added that she was excited to sing alongside Welch, who she called "one of the greatest" singers in the world.

"I just thought, ‘Who do I want to sing with?’ She’s really, to me, if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible," she gushed.

In late August, Welch dropped a subtle clue that a collaboration might be in the works when she posted a photo of herself leaning against what appeared to be the newly-licensed Artpop performer's blue Ford Bronco on Instagram, leading fans to speculate that the two pop stars were working together.

Meanwhile, the news of Gaga and Welch's duet has left Little Monsters shaking and crying across Twitter:
