Lady Gaga Naked Portrait + More From Vanity Fair Cover Up for Auction
Lady Gaga's January 2012 Vanity Fair cover generated plenty of chatter. She frankly discussed her past relationships, posed for jaw-dropping couture photo spread and she even stripped down for crooner Tony Bennett to allow him to paint her. Discussions about the issue are being revived, since items from the shoot, including the Bennett sketch, are being auctioned off via eBay for charity.
The auction includes Bennett's original signed portrait of Gaga, as well as a poster of the cover, signed by Gaga herself. An original print of the Gaga cover, signed by photographer Annie Leibovitz, is also up for bids. If this issue is of particular interest to you, then these items are certainly worth a bid.
The high-end accessories that Gaga wore during the shoot are also available for grabs including a pair of Mercura sunglasses, the House of Lavande earrings, an Alexis Bittar ring and Brian Atwood shoes. Atwood is right up there with Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin in terms of sky-high heels, so those are certainly worth a look if you are a fashionista with a hankering for heels.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit Exploring the Arts, as well as the Gaga-founded Born This Way Foundation. Click here to check out the auction!
This is a brilliant way for little monsters to donate to a good cause, all the while nabbing a piece of something that was worn by or directly related to the Mother Monster and beyond.
