Lady Gaga has conquered the digital age and is the first artist to sell 20 million digital single downloads. FMQB reports that the 'Born This Way' diva has been recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the highest-certified artist of digital sales in Gold and Platinum history.

What does that mean, in layman's terms? Well, it means that Gaga sells a lot of digital downloads of her singles and has earned the most Gold and Platinum certifications from the RIAA for moving millions of units!

Here's the breakdown of Gaga's hits, which have a combined tally of 20 million digital single downloads since the  singer burst onto the scene.

'Just Dance': 6x multi-platinum
'Poker Face': 5x multi-platinum
'Bad Romance': 4x multi-platinum
'Paparazzi': 3x multi-platinum
'Love Game': 2x multi-platinum

Fellow divas Rihanna and Taylor Swift are climbing the digital downloads ladder right behind Gaga, tallying 19 million and 18.5 million digital singles sold, respectively. The hit-making machine known as the Black Eyed Peas, who performed their new single 'Just Can't Get Enough' last night on ‘American Idol,' is the group that currently has the most digital singles certified at 17.5 million units.
