Lady Gaga Admits She Smokes Pot When Writing Music

Jeff Spicoli and other stoner icons would be proud! In her revealing interview with Anderson Cooper which aired on '60 Minutes' last night, pop superstar Lady Gaga admitted that she likes to enjoy a little bit of the green stuff when she writes music.

"I smoke a lot of pot when I write music. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it for '60 Minutes,'" Gaga admits candidly about the herbal inspiration. She also added that she consumes a little of the hard stuff -- in the form of whiskey -- when she writes as well. She also said that she does not encourage kids or her fans, affectionately dubbed "monsters," to do drugs.

Gaga won three Grammy Awards last night -- one the Best Pop Vocal Album award for her stellar record, 'The Fame Monster.' Gaga's much anticipated new album, 'Born This Way,' is out May 23rd.
