The Summer Fan Showdown is officially heating up, as the most beloved acts from across the world go head-to-head to determine which fan base ultimately rules the land.

First up, it's Mother Monster herself: Lady Gaga. No other artist on this roster has undergone more dramatic sonic and visual changes in their career over the years — from wielding disco sticks, to sky-high stilettos and bloody paws, to alien prosthetics, to jazz, to folk — you name it, Gaga's done it. And along the way, her ever-loyal Little Monsters have enjoyed the diversity of her output as a supremely creative being. But will they be able to get Gaga into the second round?

And then, there's the mighty troupe known as EXO. The group might have undergone a few member swaps over the years, but that hasn't stopped them from becoming one of the biggest South Korean forces in the industry. Just last month, they made history as the 5th (and also youngest!) K-pop act to headline the massive Seoul Olympic Stadium with their third solo concert tour — which sold out in minutes. Will the EXO-L keep the boys afloat and sailing into the next round?
