Lana Del Rey fans who missed her recent show in West Palm Beach are probably having a hard time coping with their life choices right now.

For those of you who aren't lucky enough to live in Florida and, by extension, weren't present while Lana worked her somber magic on the crowd, we'll let you in on why it was such a monumental show. Lana played her song "Florida Kilos" live for the first time ever that night, a deep cut off her 2014 release Ultraviolence. Does this mean "Florida Kilos" is being integrated into her setlist moving forward? Possibly not.

According to Stereogum, Lana played the song at that specific show for two reasons. The first reason being that she was in Florida, so, you know, when in Rome. The second reason she chose to perform "Florida Kilos" that night and never any other, was because it was her father's birthday, and the track is his favorite song off Ultraviolence. It's nice to know her dad listens to her albums all the way through. So supportive.

Because Lana seems to be in a giving mood, she posted the lyrics from the title track of her upcoming album, Honeymoon, on Instagram yesterday. She also linked off to a brand new Instagram that seems solely dedicated to promo for the album, which is set to be released later this year.

You can check out her first live performance of "Florida Kilos" in the video above.
