Voters will follow 'American Idol' contestant Lauren Alaina into hell after her performance of Carole King's 'Where You Lead.'

Alaina, who was coached by fellow teen Miley Cyrus during her practice sessions, looked resplendent with her stick-straight hair and halter dress. But styling aside, Alaina's voice and her inner confidence shone tonight. She danced with her back up singers and expressed herself by moving her arms, as well.

She even flirted with one lucky audience member and brought him on stage with her and proceeded to sing to him. Sassy, thy name was Lauren Alaina on tonight's 'American Idol.'

Much like Jacob Lusk before her, Alaina's performance was bursting with life and energy, and it wasn't just about her voice. It was about her ability to perform, to entertain and to keep the train moving even when a little mishap occurs. Alaina missed a few notes here and there and her voice cracked a wee bit towards the end of the song, but we can't hold it against her because she didn't let that moment derail her performance. It's our flaws and our mistakes that make us who we are and that make us interesting and Alaina remains as captivating as ever.

"I felt you pushing and those barriers are hard to break," Jennifer Lopez told Alaina post-performance.

Randy Jackson applauded Alaina coming out with a little extra "swagger" and with a "vengeance," even though he didn't agree with her song choice.

Something tells us that Lauran Alaina will be the last female standing as the competition winds down.
