Lorde treated a handful of lucky festival-goers with a pre-Coachella gig in the desert on April 14, where she debuted a brand new song off her forthcoming sophomore album, Melodrama.

Playing to a crowd of 300 at Pioneertown on Friday night—her first full show in three years—Lorde premiered a new track called "Sober" alongside old favorites "Royals" and "Team," as well as "Green Light" and "Liability."

"I'm the queen of the weekends / Ain't no pill that can touch our rush," the New Zealand singer-songwriter promises on the hook of the song, over a thumping tribal beat, joyful horns and shimmering electronics.
