Thanks to 'Material Girl' mom Madonna, 14-year-old Lourdes Leon will soon be a movie star. Madonna's teenage daughter is set to star in her new movie, 'W.E.'

MTV News reports that Lourdes will play the younger version of Abbie Cornish's character Wally Winthrop, a woman who is interested in the scandalous love story of King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson -- who later became the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

"She actually plays a younger version of my character," Cornish dishes to MTV about Lourdes' role. "She's a super-cute, younger version of my character."

Madonna, who was a music game-changer in the '80s and '90s, wrote and directed the romantic drama. "Madonna is a natural director," Cornish says of her time on set. "It's in her nature. She's a Leo and she really represents the Leos very well. She's a very smart woman, very well read. She really absorbs a lot about whatever she's involved in. I think she really loves learning. It was interesting to see her evolve throughout the filmmaking process. She's such a cool woman."

'W.E.' is expected to hit theaters later this year.
