Madonna Is ‘So Proud’ of Her Golden Globe Nominations

Madonna's accomplished a lot in her career, from chart hits to Grammys to adorable kids. Lately, the Queen of Pop is glowing over her Golden Globe nominations for her song 'Masterpiece' and the score to her film, 'W.E.'

Madge sat down with Anderson Cooper to talk about her achievement.  While the full interview will air in February 2012, the Silver Fox treated us to a teaser.

Madonna's reaction to her nods was pretty unexpected! When Cooper asked what she was thinking when she heard about her nominations, Madonna laughingly replied, "I need a Red Bull."  She continued, "No, I was really happy. I am so proud of Abel Korzeniowski, who did the score of my film. It was a great way to wake up this morning!"

'W.E.' isn't the only high-profile project Madonna's taking on right now. The Material Girl is also performing at the Super Bowl (much to Gene Simmons' chagrin) and putting the finishing touches on the video for 'Gimme All Your Luvin',' her killer collaboration with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.

Madonna admitted that releasing 'W.E.' was nerve wracking. "I haven't been making films for very long," Madonna said, "so I really feel the pressure, and the expectations, I think, are pretty high."

No pressure, Madonna! Even if her movie doesn't do that well, at least she can sleep at night knowing she's one of the hottest women of all time -- and that she has a $40 million record deal to fall back on.
