Mariah Carey Is Back at Home After Being Hospitalized for Contractions

For a minute, it looked like Mariah Carey would be sharing the same birthday as her twins!  The mommy-to-be, who turns 42 today, visited the hospital after experiencing contractions late last night.

Carey took to her official Twitter page to share the news with her fans. She wrote, "So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital." She continued by tweeting, "Finally they said I could come home after they got it under control but ... They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ) #soreadyallready!"

While Carey and her hubby, Nick Cannon, were taken off guard by her early contractions, it seems like Cannon is really gearing himself up for when Carey actually goes into labor. On Thursday, he tweeted, "I am probably going to faint in the delivery room! I need to man up! Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!"
