Mariah Carey just celebrated her first Christmas as a mother to her adorable twins, son, Moroccan, and daughter, Monroe. While the babies are only eight months old, the singing superstar says they hold their own when it comes to their personalities.

During Fuse's 'Mariah Carey: On the Record' special that is set to air tonight, Dec. 26 (8PM EST), the singer revealed her and husband Nick Cannon's son is "the life of the party" (quotes via People). According to Carey, the little tyke has been known to "just smile and be your best friend."

"It's so funny," Carey continued on to say about her little boy. "There's a picture of the two of us together, and we look identical. We have the identical smile. I recognize the joy that's in him. There's something that was always free about me, it just got stifled as things grew in my career."

As far as Moroccan's twin sister, Monroe, she is a girlie-girl all the way, but she's already showing signs of being a strong woman, just like mommy!

"We have Miss Monroe Cannon -- that's what I call her, Miss Monroe," Carey said. "She's very dainty and she holds her own bottle. She's Miss Independent ... definitely Miss Independent."

Monroe and Moroccan's first birthday will be on April 30, which also happens to be Carey and Cannon's anniversary.
