Two vocals legends team up when Mariah Carey joins Tony Bennett on 'When Do the Bells Ring for Me,' a song from Bennett's upcoming 'Duets II' album.

A short clip of the song has been released showing the two singers harmonizing on the old-fashioned piano ballad. Carey sings, "To those who say, 'Hey wake up and feel life' / I say, 'I'm ready, show me the way'," and Bennett replies, "Show me those arms that say 'Welcome to real life.'"

We wonder if perhaps Carey was the one who suggested 'When Do the Bells Ring for Me' as their duet choice. Bennett performed the song as a solo artist at the Grammy Awards in 1991, the same year Mariah made her first appearance on the show and won Best New Artist.

'Duets II' will be released on Sept. 20 and also features 'The Lady is a Tramp' with Lady Gaga and 'Body and Soul,' the last recording Amy Winehouse made in her lifetime.
