At only 7 months old, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's twins are already forming words!

During an event in Los Angeles over the weekend, the proud father couldn't help but gush about his son and daughter, and how quickly they are growing.

"They say words," Cannon tells Us Weekly. "They do! Not too many words ... Just 'Mamma,' 'Dadda' and 'Babba' ... that's it!"

Cannon, 31, says that since becoming a father to daughter Monroe and son Moroccan (whom the couple have nicknamed Roe and Roc), his life has become more balanced and helps him focus more on the things that matter in life.

"[Fatherhood] has probably made me prioritize my life better," he tells the magazine. "[I] spend more time on the things that actually matter in the world, [rather] than just trying to be too frivolous. [I] know that it's a ticking clock and [my] kids are growing every single day."

And now with Christmas right around the corner, Cannon says that he and Carey are looking forward to "chillin' [and] relaxin'" during the downtime at home with their new little miracles. "It's the only time we get to relax!"

Speaking of Christmas, Cannon's superstar singing wife's holiday tune, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You,' which she recorded back in 1994, topped Billboard's Holiday Chart last week.
