Ho ho ho! While we're all trying to get into the holiday spirit through Justin Bieber's duet with Mariah Carey, another Mariah is still running her mouth about their alleged labor of love. Yes, Popcrushers. Mariah Yeater insists, once again, that Justin Bieber fathered her baby.

The latest reports contradict the story that Yeater's exboyfriend told the media. While Yeater's ex, Robert Powell, may not be entirely credible (he's currently serving time behind bars for burglary and drug possession), his take on the situation wasn't exactly shocking. Powell claimed Yeater conjured up the tale of the Biebs baby to "get rich quick." How rich? Oh, a cool $50,000.

Hopefully that cash will be enough to pay her attorneys. Yeater spoke with the Chicago Sun-Times about the paternity of her 5-month old son, Tristyn. "I am still pursuing the paternity claim through my Chicago attorney Jeffery Leving and my Los Angeles attorney John Carlson but outside of court,” Yeater told the newspaper. “I dropped my lawsuit, but never my claim. I still definitely want a DNA test and I want to refile my paternity case.”

Leving pointed out that though Bieber claims to have submitted to a paternity test, Yeater and her team have yet to see the results. “Bieber’s counsel has not provided me documentation supporting that the DNA test occurred,” he told the Sun-Times. “Bieber’s counsel hasn’t told me where Bieber’s alleged DNA is secured nor has provided information substantiating the chain of custody and protocol utilized in the claimed DNA collection and testing.”

Interestingly, when the reporter asked Yeater flat out if Bieber the father, her words seemed more rehearsed than reflexive: “I do believe he is the father.” Color us surprised.
