As he works on re-building his own brand, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick -- who served 18-months in prison for dog fighting and conspiracy (and was slaughtered by the media because of it) -- decided to offer his advice to fellow scarred celebs Chris Brown and Charlie Sheen.

The Wall Street Journal sat down with Vick, who wants to lend his wisdom to a few who are also suffering from bad press, as he himself bounces back. Nevermind the suffering of canines, Rihanna, and, well, America -- Michael Vick says that he, Brown, and Sheen will have no problem winning the public over again.

"Just put your faith in God. Don’t worry about what people say about you. Words will never hurt you. The things that people can say out of their mouth can cut you deep. And sometimes a tongue can be sharper than a knife," he tells the 'With You' hip-hopper, who saw backlash after striking his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. "But at the same time, you should never allow that to push you over the edge. You should have more self-control. You control your own destiny. You’re still admired by so many people."

As for Mr. Sheen, Vick says he'll never have trouble staying in the public eye. "Charlie Sheen is just going to be Charlie Sheen," he says, laughing. "Charlie Sheen is going to be successful in whatever he do. And Chris Brown as well ... He just needs to let time heal everything."

What do you think -- can these three make a comeback?
