Police have arrested a second man in connection with the February 24 murder of America's Next Top Model Cycle 21 contestant Mirjana Puhar, her boyfriend Jonathan Alvarado and roommate Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia.

USA Today reports that 19-year-old David Lopez turned himself over to authorities in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday (March 19). Police confirmed that Lopez will join accomplice Emmanuel Rangel, 19, behind bars; each will be charged with three accounts of first-degree murder. Rangel, who has been in custody since February 24, faces an additional murder charge in relation to a fatal parking lot shooting in Matthews, North Carolina.

Police have not yet released in-depth details about the killings or its suspects, except that they believe the slayings where drug related. TMZ originally reported that "a friend had received a call from someone who had heard gunshots go off. The friend, who reportedly did not see the third victim’s body, also claimed that money was scattered around the house." It's believed that Puhar knew Rangel, but Lopez's relationship to the victims has yet to be confirmed.

The fashion world is still mourning the loss of the 19-year-old Serbian beauty, who spent her childhood in North Carolina after her family moved to the U.S. Tyra Banks and ANTM producer Ken Mok described Puhar as a "vivacious and promising young woman."

Hopefully the new arrest will bring some justice for the family and friends of the victims.
