Muse Lead Singer Matt Bellamy Tweets First Picture of Baby Bing

Muse singer Matt Bellamy used Twitter to proudly post the first photo of his newborn son, Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy.

"Family life!" he tweeted. The caption went along with a beautiful photo that shows his fiance, actress Kate Hudson, cuddling with the five-week-old baby in a warm light. Naturally, the star is all smiles next to her little bundle of joy.

Unfortunately, the tweet got the attention of the paparazzi. "Wow, these paps are annoying," Bellamy tweeted hours later. "Thought we'd tweet pic in hope of paps backing off, didn't work! There should be laws protecting minors ... Daily mail - expect to hear from lawyers soon ; )."

Bellamy and Hudson welcomed Bing into the world on July 9 in Los Angeles, Calif. "So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July." the British rocker wrote days later. "Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!"

The Muse singer also tweeted the inspiration for the couple's name choice. "For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt's dad," he explained. "Family connections all round!"

The name Hawn is a nod to Hudson's mother, actress Goldie Hawn. Bing joins big brother Ryder, Hudson's 7-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes. This is the first child for Bellamy.
