In a series of tweets on Tuesday, September 18, Aaron Carter revealed that his brother, Nick Carter, had filed a restraining order against him.

"So my brother just got a restraining order against me. And I was just served lol," Aaron tweeted. He then shared that they were "done for life" and that he hasn't seen him in four years.

The temporary restraining order reportedly states that Aaron has to stay 100 feet away from Nick, his wife, children and family members, according to TMZ.

After Aaron shared the news of the restraining order, Nick released a statement on his social media accounts about his decision to file against Aaron.

"After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today," he wrote. "In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else."

Moments after Nick released his statement, Aaron fired back in a series of tweets. "I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family," he shared. Aaron then replied to more than 30 questions from fans about the situation.
