Paris Jackson has entered treatment for her emotional health, according to a report from ET Online.

The 20-year-old "decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health," a source close to her said. Jackson has been busy with work engagements, jetting around the globe.

"She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan," the insider said.

Those close to Jackson have said she is excited to leave the facility with a new outlook, revitalized and prepared for whatever comes her way. It's unclear how long she intends to stay in treatment.

Jackson has been open about her struggles with mental health, specifically depression. Speaking with Rolling Stone in 2017, she revealed she attempted to end her own life when she was 15.

"It was just once that it became public," she said at the time. "It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn't do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore."

She claims much of her depression stemmed from spending time with "a lot of older people doing a lot of crazy things" after she entered private school in grade seven. Jackson said she was doing things kids her age would never, and should never, do.

"I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year-olds shouldn't do," she recalled. "I tried to grow up too fast, and I wasn't really that nice of a person."

Jackson added, "I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help."
