Good news for residents of 'Planet Pit!' Pitbull will drop his followup to his massive hit 2011 album this summer.

Idolator reports that Mr. Worldwide's latest effort will be entitled 'Global Warming,' no doubt in part due to the heat of his lyrics. While the exact date isn't known, Pitbull is already slating his duet with Shakira, 'Get It Started,' as the album's lead off single.

'Global Warming' isn't the only project Pit's got up his sleeve. He just dropped 'Back in Time,' the theme song to the 'Men in Black 3' and made a cameo on yet another Jennifer Lopez song, 'Dance Again.' He'll also appear at the Wango Tango festival this May.

Despite his massive pop success, Pitbull insists he hasn't lost sight of his hip-hop roots. “In no way shape or form,” he said. “I’ve been on tracks with Rick Ross, Lil Wayne [and] Fat Joe. On those tracks, I think I definitely held my own and everybody respects me for the simple fact that I’ve created my own lane.” We couldn't agree more!
