'Saturday Night Live' has had some stellar musical guests this season (the show's 38th!), but some recording artists also had the chance to exercise their acting chops, as well. Justin Timberlake is the most recent pop star to have hosted the show in the 2012-2013 season, although the 'Suit & Tie' veteran 'SNL' actor definitely has the most experience when compared to novice hosts Adam Levine, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.

Bruno Mars was actually the first crooner to host, and he was mighty nervous before the live televised gig, but he really had no reason to feel that way. He completely nailed every performance, especially during his soulful and hilarious monologue (where he sing-pondered "Can I be like Timberlake?" and told the audience he looks like a little Filipina girl). The 'When I Was Your Man' singer-songwriter continued to deliver the laughs in skits like 'Haters,' where he dresses in drag as a loud-mouthed teenager, and 'Sad Mouse,' where Mr. Mars cannot get a hug to save his life.

Up next was Adam Levine in Jan. 2012, and the Maroon 5 crooner had us fanning ourselves for air during his shirtless monologue, in which he was skewered in a 'Voice'-like spoof by actress Cameron Diaz, cast member Andy Samberg and comedic legend Jerry Seinfeld. Levine didn't let his hotness get in the way the entire time though, and he turned up the humor a notch during skits where he played the guy from 'Catfish' as well as a student at 'Sopranos High.' Although he didn't perform, we loved to watch Levine lose himself in the ridiculous skits.

Justin Bieber hosted next in Feb. 2012, and you best believe millions of Beliebers were watching that night, much to the joy of NBC execs. The 'Beauty and a Beat' heartthrob did a great job, especially considering he's so young and hasn't really had all that much professional acting experience, and made us LOL during his opening monologue where he celebrated Black History Month by singing 'One Less Lonely Girl' to Whoopi Goldberg. The Biebs also went on to star in one of the best 'SNL' skits as of late, 'The Californians,' as well as 'The Miley Cyrus Show,' where he played one of Miley's biggest fans.

Finally, last Saturday (March 9), Justin Timberlake returned to his home-away-from-home, the 'SNL' stage, for fifth round of hosting duties. As always, JT kept us thoroughly entertained with his on-camera charisma and hilarious acting, especially in his star-studded monologue, where he joined stars like Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Tom Hanks, and Alec Baldwin in the "five-timers club." He also reprised sketches like the 'Omeletville' skit, but this time he was advertising for 'Veganville.' He also dressed up as his suave 'D--- in a Box' character, and even dished out a Kanye diss during his musical performance.

We loved all of their performances for different reasons, but which of these pop crooners was your favorite 'SNL' host this season? Vote JT, Adam, Bruno or Bieber below!
