President Obama sings Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' -- sort of -- in a new mashup video that stitches together video clips of his speeches to make it sound like he's getting down with Gaga's chart-topping single.

The video opens with an actual clip of Obama speaking at last year's Human Rights Campaign dinner, where he told the crowd, "I took a trip out to California last week, where I held some productive bilateral talks with your leader, Lady Gaga."

Then comes the music to 'Born This Way,' which is paired with dozens of clips from Obama's speeches so that he sounds like he's reading the song's lyrics, one word at a time. This is your chance to hear Obama declare, "I'm beautiful in my way, cause God makes no mistakes / I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way."

The clip ends after the first verse, so we don't get to hear the prez do the entire song. The one word that seems to cause the video editor some trouble is "boudoir." Evidently Obama has not uttered this word in a public speech, so the word is creatively formed using separate clips of each syllable.

Gaga would probably appreciate the mashup, since she met with Obama last year to discuss teen suicide and bullying. The video was created by YouTube user baracksdubs, who also created a video of the president reciting Rihanna's 'Cheers (Drink to That).'
