Prince Royce Includes Studio Footage in ‘Addicted’ Video

Prince Royce invites listeners into his studio in the music video for the sweet ballad 'Addicted,' a song from his upcoming English album.

The track is a love song in which Royce sings, "I am addicted to your touch / No other woman’s made me want it this much / I cannot resist the warmth of your hips / A single serving’s never enough / Cause I’m addicted to your touch." Though the lyrics might seem perfect for a video depicting Royce and a love interest, the singer goes in alone in the clip.

Instead, the 'Addicted' video focuses on the 22-year-old Bronx native's studio recording of the song. Viewers are shown close-ups of Prince Royce at the mic as he coos the romantic lyrics. He's joined by a string section, which provides the emotional backing music. A few non-studio shots are tossed in, showing Royce playing guitar outside and walking along the beach.

'Addicted' is a teaser track from Royce's first English album, due in 2012. He told PopCrush he expects an official single to drop by the end of this year.
