And we thought that the "joke" on Wednesday night's 'X Factor' -- clearly aired for comic relief -- would be forgotten about in mere minutes. Not so in the case of pants dropper Geo Godley, whose actions had judge Paula Abdul running for the rest room to vomit.

EW reports that the PTC (Parents Television Council) has filed a complaint with the FCC against FOX for airing the segment where Godley dropped trou. To the show's credit, a huge red "X" was placed over the offender's junk, so no TV viewers were scarred with the horrific image of this strange man's exposed genitalia. L.A. Reid summed it up best, tossing around terms like "offensive" and "disgusting" while calling for Godley's removal from the premises.

PTC president Tim Winter is gunning hard for the show, saying, "Perhaps the 'X' in 'X Factor' stands for the MPAA rating. If Godley performed his act in public, he would have been arrested. But if he performs it in front of a FOX camera, his act is beamed via the public airwaves into every home in the nation."

Winter and his group are mostly upset since 'X Factor' was promoted as family friendly fare, claiming that producers knew children would be watching. He also alleges that kids "were assaulted by graphic nudity." Mr. Winter, we understand where you are coming from (and that Godley's footage should have not been promoted), but his junk was not visible. It wasn't graphic nudity by any stretch of the imagination. Like not even close.

FOX is familiar with PTC, which has complained about the network's reality shows and 'Family Guy' in the past.
