'Rico Suave' rapper Gerardo Mejia is about to get a little more rico if he has his way. The one-hit Latin wonder is suing Lady Gaga's musical director, Fernando Garibay, for a reported $4 million.

TMZ says that Gerardo has filed suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The rapper who once claimed to "eat 'em raw like sushi" says he left his position as an executive with Interscope Records to become Garibay's personal manager back in 2004.

Garibay himself is now an Interscope exec, and Gerardo claims he was not properly compensated for his role in securing Garibay's "lucrative" deal. If Gerardo's share is $4 million, we can only imagine how much Garibay must have signed for!

Gerardo experienced great success at Interscope, where he promoted Enrique Iglesias and signed 'Ms. New Booty' hitmaker Bubba Sparxxx. Garibay served as musical director on Gaga's 'Born This Way' and has also worked with Iglesias, Britney Spears and Sean Kingston.

Garibay did not respond to TMZ's request for a comment.
