In her new Rolling Stone cover story, Rihanna reveals so much more than her tight, taut body, as the cover image demonstrates , featuring the pop diva in a pair of skimpy, spray-on shorts. She lays her cards face up on the table, talking in depth about her relationship with singer Chris Brown, which disintegrated after a domestic violence incident before the 2009 Grammy Awards.

RiRi goes deep in the interview, saying "I put my guard up so hard" after the Brown incident. "I didn't want people to see me cry. I didn't want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, 'I'm fine, I'm tough.' I put that up until it felt real."

The singer also revealed why she allowed a judge to ease the terms of the restraining order against her ex, revealing that she is actually a rather kind person who didn't want their personal dispute to hamper Brown's career. "That's my decision," she says. "It doesn't mean we're gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge."

In fact, the former couple haven’t had contact in ages. "We don't have to talk ever again in my life," she admitted. "I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can't perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him."

Brown wasn't the only hot topic explored and discussed in the interview. The singer said her single 'S&M' is somewhat autobiographical and she even reveals some of her sexual preferences, proving that she is indeed a good girl gone bad! "Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun," she explains. "You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge of your shit. That's fun to me ... I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned – you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I'd rather have him use his hands." Potential Rihanna boyfriends, are you listening?

Despite her proclivity for S&M, RiRi remains completely and totally single right now. "I'm not dating," she says. "I'm not sexing, I'm not even sexting. It's on complete nil." She has been solo since she split with LA Dodger player Matt Kemp late last year. RiRi did say that despite a non-existent sex life at this time, she does appreciate the wonders of technology when it comes to a relationship, saying, "When you're not with the person you want to be intimate with, a picture is the next best thing. Well, Skype is safer. But a picture lasts a long time. When you're alone, and those horny moments come up, pictures can be very handy. Even so, she hasn't gotten any X-rated shots in quite some time. "I haven't gotten a d--- picture in a long time. I think people are a little afraid. It can turn out bad.”

Forget Christina Aguilera. Who knew Rihanna was this much of a dirty girl?
