As many Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato fans know, the pair had a bit of a falling out last year. The 18-year-old actresses/singers used to be attached at the hip, but their friendship began to fizzle out.

However, with news arising about Demi Lovato's personal struggles, including a battle with depression and being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Selena Gomez tells Seventeen magazine that she will never stop caring about Lovato.

"There's an amount of love that can never -- no matter what -- be taken away or torn apart, no matter the situation. There are certain people who you will always, always love, so if anything, this just reminded me of how much I truly love [Demi]," Gomez says to Seventeen.

It is very nice to see that their friendship seems to be on the mend, especially since Gomez tweeted a picture at the end of March of herself and Lovato hugging. It seems that both Lovato and Gomez know the importance of sticking by friends through the rough times, no matter how much drama has occurred in the past.

On the other hand, it is hard to forget about their quarrelsome remarks from back in early 2010. Lovato told fans to "Ask Taylor" when they questioned how Selena was doing in January 2010 (referring to Gomez's BFF Taylor Swift), and both Gomez and Lovato released statements to J-14 about their friendship ending.
