March Madness 2017 is a month-long competition on PopCrush to determine the best of the best of South Korean boy bands and girl groups.

This round is now over! Vote for EXO in the semi-finals here!

The battle begins today between SEVENTEEN and EXO, two of today's hottest, most dreamiest boy bands across several territories, dominating the charts and going head-to-head in the first round of PopCrush's 2017 March Madness series.

The boys of SEVENTEEN might have only just debuted in 2015, but they're already dominating the scene: their latest release, Going Seventeen, topped the charts in December of 2016. The group just finished performing a string of successful concerts in Japan, and their stay is about to be extended: they're participating in a show called One Fine Day this month in the country, too.

Ever since their debut in 2012, EXO have proven themselves to be the ultimate cross-cultural chart-dominators across several territories. They're currently killing it in Japan with their Coming Over single album, as well as their For Life EP released in South Korea in December.

The battle starts now: place your vote between SEVENTEEN and EXO. This round ends on March 10.
