Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello performed "Senorita" for the first time at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.

After walking the VMAs red carpet separately, the singers showed off their undeniable chemistry when they took the stage together to sing their summer hit on Monday (August 26). The performance, which MTV dubbed their first as a couple, was incredibly intimate and had everyone thinking they were going to kiss multiple times. In fact, at the very end, the pair engaged in an adorable nose bop that sent fans and celebs in the audience into a frenzy.

Ahead of their steamy performance, a source told Us Weekly the two were "really nervous" about making their couple debut at the VMAs. “Shawn and Camila are really nervous about nailing their performance and have been rehearsing a lot of for the VMAs. Since it’s the official debuting of them as a couple and they want it to be amazing and perfect," the insider said. "Camila and Shawn decided on this being their debut as a couple."

The pair's friendship turned romantic earlier the summer and they've been flaunting their love all over town ever since. From holding hands in New York to making out in Miami, Mendes and Cabello did not hold back on the PDA. In fact, their relationship is reportedly serious with sources saying they've "really fallen" for each other.
