An incredibly touching video has been circulating around the Internet that shows a man, Joe Fraley, performing a song for his mother who is suffering from the degenerative brain disease, Alzheimer's.

According to a post Joe made on Reddit, his mother no longer recognizes him, but he used to play guitar for her quite a bit, saying she was always his biggest fan before the disease tragically took hold of her. His YouTube description says: "This is a video of me playing a song to my Mom who has Alzheimer's. I shot this a few days before my family took my mother into a home. I was apprehensive about posting it because it was so personal and showed my mom at her worst. But I hope this video promotes awareness of this horrible disease."

It's a deeply moving depiction of the love Joe has for his mother, and shows viewers the tragedy of the disease. The video really demonstrates just how heartbreaking Alzheimer's is, as Joe's mother turns to her son and says, mid-song: "How do you know where we are?" and Joe responds: "Well, we're right here, right now," comforting her at once.
