‘Spotlight’ Wins Best Original Screenplay at the 2016 Oscars

Tom McCarthy and Josh Singer won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay at the 2016 Academy Awards on Sunday night (February 28) for Spotlight.

Spotlight was up against a strong list of screenplays including Bridge of Spies, Ex Machina, Inside Out, Spotlight and Straight Outta Compton.
