Lady Gaga's hunky fiancé Taylor Kinney recently sat down with Meredith Vieira on her titular daytime talk show to discuss his reaction to Gaga's shockingly raunchy sex scenes on Hotel, the newest installment of Ryan Murphy's hit series, American Horror Story.

As Vieira says, Hotel already boasts its fair share of "sex toys, orgies, and nudity," and she asks Kinney to explain his reactions, especially because Gaga's Countess character is often at the center of all the debauchery. Kinney admits that it's "awkward" to have "the shoe on the other foot," despite his own history with doing steamy scenes.

Kinney then recounts the AHS: Hotel premiere in Los Angeles, during which he had the (dis)pleasure of sitting next to Gaga's father. He humorously tilts his head toward the ceiling, averting his eyes, to imply that that's how the two men reacted to the raunchy scenes.

When Murphy directly asked him what he thought of the premiere, Kinney fumblingly states, "I don't think I said anything. I'm still trying to process what the hell I just watched!" Despite whatever discomfort he may feel, he maintains that he couldn't be more proud of Gaga because she's loving what she's doing on the show.

There's no doubt that this season of American Horror Story is its most gruesome yet—something Murphy himself has openly and proudly declared—which means it's undoubtedly going to attract plenty of criticism from conservative parties. Case in point: Tim Winter, the president of the Parents Television Council. Winter has blasted Murphy and the series by publicly expressed his outrage over this season's premiere, which he claims is "the most vile and shocking content I've ever seen on TV. Ever," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

But isn't that why we watch American Horror Story in the first place?
