Taylor Swift Teams Up With LL Cool J for Grammy Promo

With the 2012 Grammys just a few short weeks away, everyone is doing their part to ensure that things flow smoothly. This past weekend, Taylor Swift teamed up with host LL Cool J to shoot a promo commercial for the big event, and the evidence was captured in a very telling photo.

In the pic, both T-Swizzle and LL are dressed for a night on the town, looking sleek and (dare we say) sexy in nothing but black. While the 'Love Story' songstress is showing a bit more skin than usual, her iconic rap buddy more than makes up for it with a hat and full black suit, down to the tie and dress shirt.

Posed in front of an oversized Gramophone, Taylor and LL look at ease and as if they're childhood friends -- not from two different genres and separated by a 20-year age gap. Of course, they both have quite a bit to smile about this year. After hosting the official Grammy nominations concert for the past four years, LL Cool J has been asked to run music's biggest night of the year as the Master of Ceremonies, which is a huge feat.

As for Taylor Swift, she's up for a whopping three Grammys -- one for Best Country Solo Performance, one for Best Country Song for ‘Mean' and Best Country Album for her 2010 ‘Speak Now' release. Considering that she already has four of the golden statues at home, she shouldn't be too upset if she doesn't pocket a few more... Though, we don't really see that happening.

The 2012 Grammy Awards will air live from the Los Angeles Staples Center on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8PM EST.
