Taylor Swift Settles Her Differences With Michael J. Fox

Eyebrows shot pretty far up when actor Michael J. Fox recently took some pot shots at Taylor Swift, advising the singer not to date his son, Sam. But not to worry -- they're all good now!

Some backstory: At the Golden Globes, hostess Tina Fey issued stern warnings to Swift to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son ... she needs some 'me time' to learn about herself."

Fox responded later on, pretty amusingly -- but since Swift is notoriously sensitive, we doubt she was happy with him joke. When asked if he'd like his son Sam to date Swift, he said, “No. No … just back off ... but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career.”

When pressed on how he'd react if Sam brought Swift home for dinner, he chuckled, “I wouldn’t even know who she was.” He did admit he'd figure it out once the song was on the radio: “Yeah, exactly,” he said. “‘Sam, You Piece of S—’. Oh … that was the girl you brought home!”

We're glad everyone can get along!
