The Wanted Drop Hints About ‘Chasing the Sun’ Video

New music video from the Wanted? Yes, please!

The band recently revealed that there are video treatments in the work for the video for their new single, 'Chasing the Sun.' Following their performance on 'American Idol' last week, band members Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran and Tom Parker chatted with MTV about the different directions they could go with the video's concept.

"We're gonna be flying through space, literally, running after the sun the whole three minutes," Sykes joked to MTV.

"We saw a lot of treatments and a lot of them took it literally, somewhere chasing the sun," adds McGuiness. "But we decided we weren't into that. We worked with a director called Director X, so we know it's going to be a good party. But we'll leave the details until we release it."

The video for 'Chasing the Sun' will not be the first collaboration between Director X and the British boy band. The director has already experimented with the guys on two of their previous videos -- 'Glad You Came' and 'Warzone.' The new video is being shot next week and is anticipated to arrive to video channels  by the end of the month.

'Chasing the Sun' is the next single from the Wanted's highly-anticipated U.S. debut EP which will also make its impact later this month, on April 24. "I wish it was out now, really," says George. "We're really excited for it to come out. Hopefully all our fans will love the other songs. We've got some singles we've done in the U.K. We've got some new songs we've written. I think they'll like it, I hope."

In addition the the new tunes, the band also revealed there will be an American special guest on the project ... a "very talented" rapper. Guess we'll have to wait just a few more weeks for all the goods on the Wanted!
