Tom Felton Sorted Into Gryffindor on Pottermore, J.K. Rowling Responds
Tom Felton pretty much is Draco Malfoy to so many people. He grew up playing the role of Harry Potter's arch-nemesis onscreen, so sometimes it's hard to separate fiction from reality. But according to pretty much everything we've read about the actor, he seems like a super nice guy -- completely opposite his character, which we guess is called 'acting.' And it turns out that Tom, despite his playing a Slytherin character, has actually been sorted into the Gryffindor House by the official 'Harry Potter' website, Pottermore -- which means it's real and final.
It's no surprise to us that Tom was sorted into Gryffindor -- he doesn't seem the calculated, conniving type that belongs in Slytherin -- and it looks like it didn't shock author J. K. Rowling, either. She responded to Tom's revelatory tweet (in which he reluctantly admitted to having been sorted into Gryffindor), saying, "I could've told you that years ago. I just didn't want to spoil your motivation." Aww! Too cute.
What do you guys think? Do you think Gryffindor is the right call for Tom? What house were you sorted into? Let us know!
