The success of Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album 'Watch the Throne' have sparked creative ideas among fellow artists of who they would like to collaborate with for a joint project if given the opportunity.

For Trey Songz, if given the chance to team up with anybody, it would be his longtime buddy, rapper-singer Drake. The duo have created hits together before, most notably on their 2009 chart-topper 'Successful.'

"When thinking along the lines of that, Drake is the first person that comes to mind that I am that musically comfortable with in that space," the crooner tells The Source. "He is a friend of mine as well, and I think we can pull something off like that could sound very authentic."

While a Songz-Drizzy collabo album sound hot to us, the crooner may have to wait for that project to really pop off. Cash Money CEO Birdman recently told XXLMag.com that Lil Wayne and Drake are poised to work together on a collaborative album once they are finished with their own solo projects. “Wayne and I recently talked about [the Weezy/Drake collabo album],” he says. “That’s definitely going to get done.”

In the meantime, Trey Songz is working on his next solo album, 'Chapter 5,' due out next year.
