Say it ain't so! According to a statement made by 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy, Charice will not be reprising her role of exchange student Sunshine Corazon for Season 3 on the musical sitcom.

During a press conference, Murphy told reporters, "We’re not going to have any guest stars. And we’re going to do fewer songs." This is a surprising statement, since Season 2 of 'Glee' became notable for featuring a laundry list of celebrity guest stars, including Britney Spears and Gwyneth Paltrow.

At least with Sunshine out of the picture, Lea Michele's character Rachel can sleep easy knowing she is the reigning vocal powerhouse in McKinley High once again.

Charice may not be returning to 'Glee,' but this is definitely not the last we will hear from the 19-year-old Filipina songstress. In a recent interview, she spoke of her aspirations to continue acting, and her hopes to star in a horror movie! She is also planning on releasing a full-length album this fall, and her movie 'Here Comes the Boom' hits theaters next year.
