Watch Amy Schumer Parody One Direction in Hilarious ‘Girl You Don’t Need Makeup’ Video

Amy Schumer's last music video was a hilarious, conflicted ode to female booty worship, and last night's Inside Amy Schumer set its sights on a target near and dear to our hearts: One Direction.

The boys in Amy's boy band aren't dead ringers for Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis, and they bust out some very un-characteristically 1D dance moves. But there are four of them, and the song's pretty "What Makes You Beautiful"-reminiscent.

The boys begin their song by telling Amy, Girl you don't need makeup / You're perfect when you wake up/ Just walk around like that all day. But when the comedian joyfully tissues off her face, the boys change their tune right away: "You'll be the hottest girl in the nation / With just a touch of foundation." How many women have heard their boyfriend tell them they should go makeup-free, only to come back with a "hey...are you okay? You look kind of tired" when their girlfriend actually skips the mascara? The answer is: So many women.

By the end of the video, Amy is cartoonishly slathered in cosmetics as the boys urge her on: "Think of a clown, and then work your way back." It basically looks like a box of markers exploded on her face, or a Lion King cast member seriously mis-applied. It's a hilarious send-up of both makeup and boy bands, and one that resonated on Twitter during and after the show as people tweeted their bare faces with the hashtag #girlyoudontneedmakeup. Amazing.
