When you've sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, entertain legions of fans nightly at a Las Vegas revue and have been deemed a style icon by American teenagers, what's next? Britney Spears: The Movie Star, of course!

In an interview with E! News during Sunday night's (August 16) Teen Choice Awards, the enduring pop star shared that she's still got aspirations beyond music, and would love the chance to be projected onto the silver screen more regularly.

"I could dream," she said. "I would love to be a movie star."

Spears' most recent leading film role was as a small-town Georgia girl in search of her mother in 2002's Crossroadsbut she's since appeared in Austin Powers in GoldmemberAnd while the Oscar awaits, she's content pursuing TV projects for the time being, including a spot in the upcoming season of Jane the Virgin, a show she's grown to love.

"I think the writing is so simple and so endearing and it's funny!" she shared. "I started watching the show before it got really big and I was telling everyone about it. They were all like, 'What are you talking about?' and then it got really big."

And speaking of big, the "Pretty Girls" singer said she's found herself in awe of pop's latest It Girl.

"I love Taylor Swift," she gushed. "I think she's adorable. I love her music. Her music makes me so happy. She's very level-headed. She's a very, very smart girl, very wise."
