Here's some sorta good news from the Britney Spears camp. Remember that lawsuit her former bodyguard had against her a while back? Brit-Brit's settled the case out of court, so he should be out of her hair for a while.

The lawsuit sounded like a bunch of baloney to us anyway. “She broke wind or picked her nose unselfconsciously and unapologetically and she was constantly and gratuitously loud and profane," Flores' papers said. "She did not bathe for days, did not use deodorant, did not brush her teeth, did not fix her hair, did not wear shoes or socks.” While all of that sounds unpleasant (and for the record, Spears denied all of the allegations), we don't quite see how it constitutes harassment. However, other allegations he raised were more serious: he also claimed Spears abused her children and exposed herself in front of him. We find those equally dubious, as Spears makes no secret of how much she adores her little boys.

Flores is also the same upstanding gentleman who shopped a book about Spears tour exploits, so we take everything he says with a grain of salt.

We’re taking all of this with a huge grain of salt, because the report reminds us that Flores is the same bodyguard who once tried suing Spears for sexual harassment. Flores claims to have a $1 million publishing deal for his tawdry tales.

TMZ reports that Spears met with a private mediator, and despite her sources claiming the case to be "total BS" and that Flores "only worked for her for a minute," she settled the case out of court. These situations aren't uncommon, especially for stars with a lot on their plates (like an upcoming wedding!) who just want it to go away without being played out in front of the media. It's probably the best bet for Brit -- this guy doesn't deserve any more of her limelight or her money!
