Britney Spears’ Vegas Show Is a Financial Hit for Planet Hollywood

Britney Spears' residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas has proven to be a money maker for the resort and casino. Billboard reports that Spears' first year at Planet Hollywood has earned the hotel approximately an additional $20 million in profits.

Spears' was originally contracted for two years beginning in late 2013, and going through the end of 2015, but the singer recently announced that she has signed a deal to continue her Piece of Me show into 2017.

Financial insiders tell The Las Vegas Sun, "Wall Street gaming experts say the pop princess has revitalized the property and helped turn its one-time dismal financial picture into a real profit center."

It's been a busy year for Brit Brit. In addition to her Vegas shows, Spears released a new line of lingerie called Intimate Britney Spears right after she went through a very public breakup. She has also teased new photos of her in the recording studio hinting that new music very well may be coming soon.
