Caitriona Balfe Ruffles in Navy and Red at the 2017 Golden Globes

Actress Caitriona Balfe walked the red carpet at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards in a dramatic strapless navy gown with peeks of red in its ruffled accents. She finished the look with simple makeup and a chic low bun.

Balfe is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama for portraying Claire Beauchamp Randall and Fraser in Outlander. This is her second Golden Globe nomination. She was also nominated in 2015 for the same role. She is also nominated for a People's Choice Award in Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress category.

Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony takes place at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Sunday, January 8, broadcast live on NBC beginning at 8 PM EST. The 2017 Golden Globes nominees were announced on December 12, with actress Meryl Streep selected as the honoree of the year’s Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award.
