Celine Dion Is Reportedly ‘Getting Ready to Come Back to Work’

Good news! According to the Las Vegas Sun, it looks like Celine Dion may soon be ready to continue her Vegas residency, after taking some time off earlier this year to focus on the health of her husband and former manager, Renee Angelil.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that Celine will definitely be back to complete her residency, but there is no definitive date as to when she will return yet, and whether it will be any time before March 22 is still unknown.

Celine decided to postpone all of her upcoming industry commitments in an attempt to be closer to her family while they deal with the intense challenges that undoubtedly came with the diagnosis of her husband's cancer. Renee underwent surgery in Dec. 2013 in order to have a cancerous tumor removed. According to the Las Vegas Sun, Rene has been making "good progress" with his recovery, which may certainly be a contributing factor as to why Celine is getting ready to return to work.

The Sun goes on to report that Celine allegedly said: “I’m getting ready to come back to work. I want to. I’m prepared to restart the show and work again.”
