Cody Simpson threw it way back at the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards -- and totally pulled it off!

Let's be honest, the singer always looks good on the red (or orange) carpet. At the KCAs, he rocked a simple white tee and black straight-legged pants with a fierce leather jacket. The biggest statement of the outfit were his graphic black and white loafers, which added a classic, retro element to his ensemble. Guys, you can never go wrong with a white shirt and baller jacket. (The shoes are simply a bonus!)

Cody is a charming, laidback dude and this outfit totally suits him. It's proof that sticking to the basic is always a win in our books!
